Lower Motor Mount Studs Swift DB-1

After shearing both lower motor mounts on the Swift, I split the car this morning and had some pretty good results. But first for my question:

What size (length and diameter) and what thread pitch are the lower motor mount studs used on the DB-1? A.R.E. pan.

On to the story. Morning warmup session starts and one lap in, my shift patern moves aft in the cockpit by a few inches. I figure something in the shift shaft let go. Pulled in and the motor shuts off and will not restart. Not even a click. Then as the car rolls to a stop, I can smell burning oil. Uh oh! We push the car back to the pit to have it bottom out in a spot that it shouldn't. I look under and discover the motor is on the ground. That shouldn't be like that!

We get the body off the back and see that it is the mounts that sheared. Day done. The good news is, it was the motor mounts that caused the other problems as well. The wire for the starter solenoid has a spade connector. When the motor moved, this disconnected (better than having it torn free). Also when the motor moved, it loosened an oil fitting at the pump.

Today, I got to (not so) easy out the sheared studs. Proving that this car is a one percenter, it actually worked (my luck with easy outs is as follows 55% break the easy out inside the broken bolt, 44% strip the inside of the drilled out bolt making the easy out not grip, 1% it works). I was so happy, I took photos to remember this momentus occassion.

I did find that it made the chassis hole an oval so I will need to take care of that (see photo). I also found out that at least the head on the car is from Farley (see photo). I have a call out to Farley to see if I can learn anything about the motor.

Now I just need the new upper mount (it bent the old one when the lower mounts sheared), get the new studs, fix the chassis mount and I should be able to make Willow Springs in three weeks.
