Oil Temperature Sensor Location (VD RF-01 kent)

Hi Folks,

Just a quick question...where are people installing an AIM Oil Temperature sensor in a post RF-99 Ford Kent car? I was thinking of installing it into the left bellhousing port using one of these -->

But it would put the sensor too close to the exhaust for my liking.

Any suggestions welcome.
