This car is a 'McGuire' it was one of three made. The goal of the project was to make a D13 more aerodynamic by narrowing the car. From what I have heard it worked and was very fast. John Van De Carr was one of the two people who developed this car and raced one during the time it was made.
This car is a frame, rear suspension, front steering addition, steering box, tie rods, pedals, trailing arms, all rear suspension and body work ONLY. NO transmission NO beam. Just pictured this way to give you a better idea.
In the pictures the rear suspension is un bolted from the frame so it does not give you a good idea of how it works but it is like a D13 zero roll setup. NO LOG BOOK! But was raced with the SCCA last in the early 90's.
