A friend of mine borrowed my FC car (95 VD) for drivers school and did the race at CMP this weekend. Both times he complained of the engine loading up on him.
I suggested he was letting it sit and idle too long and needed to keep the revs up in general. Was also the advice he got from some people at the school.
But he said he had issues on the race track at CMP. Now I never had issues myself but I was thinking that maybe he needs to run a hotter plug, to keep them cleaner.
So questions:
1.) What is approapriate heat range of plugs for a Pinto FC
2.) What else may be the issue?
I have not had a chance to talk to him about it so I do not have all the details.
