Sorry in advance for writing this in english, but my german leaves a lot to be desired - so please bare with me.
I have a really important message to those of you that are struggling with completing all site-upgrades to 6.2 before 1st of march! Needless to say a lot of solutions will soon be affected by this and wont be supported with latest bug-fixes and security updates - needless to say to people of your capacity that this is problematic.
I work at Linkfactory, a danish typo3-agency, where we've spent the last 6 months automating as much as the process as humanly possible to speed things up for our clients and the service is now available for all agencies and hosting-providers to use. We've been so lucky, that we've had to perform huge upgrades for really big solutions, so there's been more than enough reason to work on scripting as much as possible for our own sakes.
Today, we are now able to offer a service that we call "CMSupdater" and it provides automatic analysis and upgrades for any TYPO3-solution covering all technical aspects, including:
We have a bunch of danish agencies and developers using the service to help them perform upgrades for their clients. They say that on the report alone, with diff they save 15-25 hours of work and the templavoila conversion can save much more.

- Detection of all local changes applied to extensions.
- Reports Deprecated API-usage in both TER and custom code
- Extensive database with known issues, problematic extensions, deprecated technology
- Automatic conversion of all LLXML to Xliff
- Detection of local changes applied to extensions. Optional forward-merge choice or code-modernization for modified extensions
- Code-modernization + all modification of core and extensions are delivered as DIFF pr. file. Diff are delivered in a Git repository mergable with TER extension releases (Git branches with versionnumber and release date).
- Automatic conversion from TemplaVoila to Fluid/Gridelements.
